I’m glad you are enjoying the blog, we’re having fun doing it.
Bruising and bleeding imply Vit C complex deficiency…in other words, scurvy. Now I don’t know your case and you might have to have some tests to check your platelet and clotting time, but Vitamin C is the place to start and I don’t just mean ascorbic acid. Get a food based Vit C with all 12 components that treat all the tissues. I’ll go into more detail in my new health program…coming soon! In the meantime, you can find the right Vitamin C at http://www.grownbynature.com and take 1-2 per day.

Wonderful to be able to read all this excellent information on your blog.
I had the pleasure of meeting you in Amarillo.

I am very healthy thanks t Dr Roby’s advice, but recently have noticed that I bruise easily and bleed when scratched… any suggestions? I am 65 years of age and some tell me this is”normal” at my age….?

I’ve quadrupled my vit. C intake to 4000 mg/day, and since starting this regimen two years ago have no longer been bothered by either flu or recurrent bladder infections.

I took my one and only flu shot about 10 years ago because the school district encouraged all employees to get one. Not only did my arm swell up, I had the absolute WORST case of flu within about 2 weeks! I never remember being so sick with the flu in my life! I’ve since had a couple of cases, but never to the degree I got after getting that vaccine. I keep my immune system healthy and use natural products when I feel something coming on.

I saw you last fall at the Amarillo health conference. I hope you’ll be back this year!

You may be able to get tetanus antibody blood tests to see if they are still present.

In 1991, In New York City, My daughter was required to have a vaccination to enter school, the exemption we used was on religious grounds I continue to thank God’s back up team including Dr Carolyn Dean

Hello Dr. Dean! I spoke with you back in September regarding my 12 year old daughter who was hospitalized with an intestinal infection. Thanks in part to your guidance & advice she is fully recovered. I visit Maui every year and when I saw your pic I recall the walk I take every day when I am there. It is the 3 mile path in front of the Grand Wailea where we stay. Everyone is always so friendly on that walk. Wish I could be there now. Enjoy your beautiful walks. Gwen Wilburn

I would not do tetanus shots either as these are cultured on aborted fetal tissue.
I have had a child, a son, who cut his foot very deeply in a dirty creek behind our house. I gave him a silver product orally and cleaned out the wound with hydrogen peroxide, silver and packed it with goldenseal powder. Never even ran a fever and no scar to this day. He was seven when it happened and is now 21, totally not vaccinated and very, very healthy!!

I work in a hospital, as a Sterile Processing Technician. A number of years ago, all the hospital Employer’s all over the Province informed their staff that they all had to have the flu shot and did not have a choice. I felt like I was living in a Communist Country, not Canada. I personally do not believe in the flu shot for a healthy adult, so I refused. Thank goodness our Union stepped in and informed the Employer’s that it was against our constitutional right to force a person to take the flu shot. I still refuse the flu shot each year it is offered.
