It's what Dr. Reinhold Vieth uses in his clinical trials in Toronto, Canada. I was taking 1000 IU daily and my blood level was 94nmol/L. I upped it to 3000 IU last January and then I had a cataract removed in Aug. At that time I upped it to 5000 IU and had my blood level checked but it had dropped down to 81nmol/L.I don't know if the steroid eyedrops caused it to drop or what happened.
