Take 5 TBSP of Coconut Oil and Call Me In the Morning

I’m always looking for safe, natural “cures” that multi-task in our bodies. And I’ve found a great one in coconut oil.

I’m writing a review of Dr. Bruce Fife new book, “Stop Alzheimer’s Now! Dr. Fife says the basic treatment for this devastating condition is simply coconut oil. But coconut oil is not simple. One of my clients remarked:

“I just read a few things from Dr. Fife’s coconut oil links. I knew it was good stuff but had no idea that it was this amazing. It’s even used for the thyroid. This must be one close to a perfect food.”

I also know that it’s a great anti-fungal treatment; can be used as a skin moisturizer; and can treat seizures!

As Dr. Fife’s says on his Coconut Research site, “Coconut is highly nutritious and rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. It is classified as a “functional food” because it provides many health benefits beyond its nutritional content. Coconut oil is of special interest because it possesses healing properties far beyond that of any other dietary oil and is extensively used in traditional medicine among Asian and Pacific populations. Pacific Islanders consider coconut oil to be the cure for all illness. The coconut palm is so highly valued by them as both a source of food and medicine that it is called “The Tree of Life.” Only recently has modern medical science unlocked the secrets to coconut’s amazing healing powers.”

What kind and how much coconut oil do you take to treat and prevent Alzheimer’s and many other health conditions and treat hundreds of symptoms? The dosage used in most studies is about 5 TBSP per day of extra virgin coconut oil.

How do you use it? You can substitute it in most recipes calling for oil; in your smoothie or protein powder drink (which is how I take it); and straight from the spoon.

Dr. Fife says that “Nearly one third of the world’s population depends on coconut to some degree for their food and their economy. Wherever the coconut palm grows the people have learned of its importance as an effective medicine. For thousands of years coconut products have held a respected and valuable place in local folk medicine.”

What type of oil do I use? Tropical Traditions, which produces Extra Virgin Coconut oil, a milder tasting Expeller Processed Coconut Oil, coconut oil lip gloss and coconut oil body creams with different scents and includes Arnica for aches and pains.

Be sure to send your coconut oil miracle stories to me when you start taking it! Just remember, according to Dr. Fife, the 5 TBSP are for someone with Alzheimer’s or a serious disease. For minor problems and maintenance, he says 1-3 TBSP is just fine. Of course you still might want to start with a teaspoon or two to see how your body reacts. It can have a great laxative effect!
