Magnesium and Whales - Dr. Carolyn Dean MD ND

Magnesium and Whales

February 2, 2012

Perhaps you think I’m joking. Not at all. Whales are constantly immersed in seawater which contains 1300 ppm, second only to sodium at 11,000ppm. By the way, calcium is only present in 400ppm. That’s one of the many reasons why I would like people to take more magnesium than calcium.

But I stared this post to tell you about my whale watching adventure last week with Blue Water Rafting in a very tiny boat holding about 18 people, including my friend Kelly. The whales were everywhere, beside us, around us and under us in great pods of males fighting for the attention of several females. In retrospect it was probably scary but I was too excited to notice.

However, when I went for a swim later that day, both my feet cramped up. For me, a sure sign of magnesium deficiency. Then I realized that the stress of my morning adventure had burned up my magnesium. So, just a heads up for you folks who are under stress that you may want to stock up on magnesium.

Here are some recent magnesium miracles I want to share with you.

1. A manager of a big natural products store said that he had personally watched three fellow employees get off a lifetime of medications merely by addressing their magnesium deficiency using Natural Calm.

2. On Facebook, someone gave a testimonial about magnesium and specifically Natural Clam. “I love Calm because I have Lyme Disease, which causes magnesium depletion, and it has helped me to manage my symptoms such as heart palpitations and muscle spasms. I agree with another comment that was left about how I can notice a difference very soon after taking it. Last night my father-in-law, who just had surgery to remove his kidney due to cancer, went in to tachycardia. My husband gave him some calm and within 2 minutes his heart was back to normal.”

3. A woman wrote that she had a migraine for 4 days, and took every pill she could get her hands on. Nothing was working… then she went into work and a coworker suggested she try Natural Calm. She went to the health food store, bought the raspberry lemon flavor, and within 45 minutes of drinking it, her migraine was GONE! Needless to say, she was very impressed.

4. And here’s a very interesting testimonial from a woman with nerve pain.
“The other night, while I was sleeping, my inside ankle bone began having electric shocks, strong enough to wake me up and keep me up all night. I kept trying to change my position, but nothing helped. I put Blue Stuff on, nothing, then DMSO, nothing. I just kept shocking all the next day when I had an appointment with my Naprapath and he couldn’t figure out what was causing it. He even tried cold laser…nothing helped. Later that evening I decided to try magnesium oil. I sprayed some on, rubbed it in. I had a few more twinges that got lighter and lighter, then it stopped altogether. It’s been 3 days now. Miraculous Magnesium. I am still walking around with my little spray bottle of magnesium oil, just in case.”

About the Button contest…More people chose the Green button and those who chose the White often said that it was easier to read than the Green. So, I alerted OrganizedWisdom.com and told them to sharpen up their images. Until they do, I’ll just keep both buttons on my blogs! Cause I can!!
