My friend Jeffrey M Smith is a long-time advocate of freedom to choose the food we eat. His books, Seeds of Deception and Genetic Roulette have opened the eyes of millions to the fact that GMO foods have infiltrated our agricultural lands and our lives giving us no choice but to eat them or starve.
Jeffrey’s new documentary: Genetic Roulette: The Gamble of Our Lives is free to watch online this week only September 15-22, 2012. It reveals the serious health impacts of genetically engineered foods in our diets and shows how you can protect your family.
Readers of my blog know that I try my best not to promote doom and gloom. For me this is about the Facts and it’s yet another issue of freedom of choice. We are not given the choice to eat clean, organic GMO-free foods when all crops now are now indiscriminately threatened with GMO contamination.
What solutions are offered in Jeffrey’s documentary.
1. Buy Organic. Organic companies cannot knowingly use genetically modified ingredients.
2. Avoid the most highly GMO crops such as corn, soy, canola oil and cottonseed oil.
3. Make your foods from scratch as much as possible.
4. Avoid packaged foods.
5. Download the Non-GMO Shopping Guide to help you make smarter shopping choices. It’s online and about as an iPhone App.
What do I personally do about the GMO problem? I use RnA Drops to allow my body to grow into its healthiest potential where GMO doesn’t affect it. When I travel and don’t know about food sources, I simply drink my Non-GMO meal replacement ReStructure along with Antioxidant Greens.
And, I practice “NeverMind”, which means even though I know about the problem I don’t dwell on it. I don’t let it create a wound in my mind where it festers and drives me crazy. I also do the best I can to avoid GMO foods and support the efforts of people trying to educate the public about being given the freedom to choose what we eat.
It’s the same scenario in allopathic medicine that I’ve been exposing for decades. We are not given the right to choose what medicine we are “allowed” to use. Allopathic medicine has a monopoly in hospitals, health insurance and government limiting our choices to drugs and surgery. It’s time to take responsibility for your own health!
