Fast Food Failure – Dr. Carolyn Dean MD ND

Fast Food Failure

March 27, 2015

The media, instead of promoting resources for people to learn about healthy food choices, has chosen (for a fee) to support the dark side.

The Associated Press exposed Coca-Cola in a massive payola scheme to churn out deceptive corporate propaganda on over 1,000 news sites as reported in Natural News. Coca-Cola paid “fitness and nutrition experts” to place pro-Coke articles in over 1,000 news websites (including major newspapers) positioning Coca-Cola as a “healthy snack.”

I’ve talked about the high fructose corn syrup in sodas diverting magnesium away from its many important roles in the body. The phosphoric acid and chemical additives in soda don’t seem to bother the “experts” being paid to brainwash readers.

The Huffington Post ran an article titled: 10 Nutritionists Reveal What They’d Order At McDonald’s. Maybe the nutritionists, who were mostly RDs (registered dieticians) anxious to see their name in print, decided to abandon whatever concerns they may have about fast foods and played into the hands of the writer. Will we find out that this is another propaganda piece funded by McDonalds like the Coca-Cola payola scheme?

And the Dairy Council of California educates us on the oxymoron called Pizza Nutrition. Oxymoron is a figure of speech in which contradictory terms appear together. In this case the emphasis is on the word moron as the Dairy Council assures us that every food group can be found in pizza and that’s all that’s important in providing nutrition for a child.

Readers of my blog are well aware of the unhealthy nature of Coca-Cola, McDonalds and pizza. Sure you can have junk food as a treat or in an emergency but putting it out there in the media as go-to healthy foods is confusing to millions of people who believe what they read and what they see advertised on TV. This propaganda is creating a world of unhealthy people who are medicated because of their diet making them sick, unproductive and unhappy.

Sugar and simple carbs are the main ingredients in junk food. Dr. Abram Hoffer said that sugar is the most dangerous addictive substance there is and leads to further addictive behaviors.

If you have children or grandchildren who are growing up on Coca-Cola, McDonalds and pizza, engage them in The Junk Food Experiment. Ask them to give up junk food for 6 days and on a Saturday allow them anything they want for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They will usually be so sick on Sunday that they can’t help but make the connection between junk food and how they feel. It could be the turning point in their lives.

The people who come to me for telephone consultations have often been through years of bad diet choices. However, they find that a healthy diet and the Total Body ReSet formulas give them the right building blocks to repair their bodies.
