If you follow the erratic bouncing ball called modern medicine, you’ll see that some things that were true last year are false this year. For example, doctors recommend that everyone with diabetes should take statin drugs to, supposedly, lessen their risk of heart disease. Turns out that was Wrong Advice.
The March 4, 2015 issue of Diabetologia says that simply taking statins gives you an increased risk of diabetes (by almost 50%) and presumably if you have diabetes and start taking statins it can make you worse! The article is titled: “Increased Risk Of Diabetes With Statin Treatment Is Associated With Impaired Insulin Sensitivity And Insulin Secretion.”
Pro-statin doctors are rushing to say that the benefits of statins outweigh the risks!
However, an unbiased Cochrane Review of stains presented an overall negative conclusion. They found that, if there were cardiovascular benefits of statins, the numbers were too small to be worth it. I would add that the risks far outweigh the benefits, especially in light of this new study.
I’ve written a half dozen blogs about magnesium and diabetes. (You can Google for them.) One of the signs of diabetes is low magnesium levels in the blood. Statin drugs “waste” magnesium, especially the drugs that contain fluoride molecules, so obviously people are going to develop magnesium deficiency and thus develop diabetes and possibly high blood pressure and high cholesterol as well – all magnesium deficiency symptoms.
Because doctors don’t use proper blood tests to measure magnesium, they will never know the deficiency they are creating. Our only hope is for people to learn about the importance of magnesium; take a well-absorbed magnesium like ReMag; and keep healthy enough to avoid doctors and their “one-size-fits-all” prescriptions.
Yes, I will keep harping on this message because every day I speak with clients and receive emails from people struggling to get off drugs improperly prescribed for conditions caused by magnesium deficiency.
Here are two Magnesium-Miracle stories about diabetes:
“I have been following your advice from your blogs for about a year now. I work with type 2 diabetics that want to reverse symptoms and get off insulin and medications. Your ReMag has worked wonders with my clients and I have had amazing testimonials.”
“I have been fighting severe type 2 diabetes for years, and have tried all the usual drugs and recommended supplements. The best help came from Lantus type insulin and an extremely restricted low carb diet, plus exercise. But even that didn’t always bring blood sugar down below 120-160. Although I have been supplementing with magnesium for years, trying to select forms that did not result in diarrhea, magnesium never had any bearing on my blood sugar until now. I am on my second bottle of ReMag, and like magic, that stubborn blood sugar has dropped to normal range! My other magnesium related symptoms have improved as well. Thank you so much. Please publicize this for the benefit of other diabetics.”
The effects of ReMag are so profound because this form of magnesium is absorbed fully and directly into cells where it is needed. Add ReMyte for the chromium, zinc and 10 other trace minerals. Add ReAline to help detoxify cells damaged by drugs and a poor diet. And use RnA Drops to help create perfect cells.
