Muscle or Nerve Problems? Look to Magnesium - Dr. Carolyn Dean MD ND

Muscle or Nerve Problems? Look to Magnesium

November 24, 2015

According to people who follow supplement products and market share, magnesium sales are uptrending and calcium sales are downtrending. Our ReMag, however, isn’t in the running for the best-selling magnesium. It’s a “specialty” magnesium that fits a valued niche for people who want the best absorbed, non-laxative, therapeutic magnesium on the market. We will never be sold in stores or wholesale to practitioners or companies that would double the price of ReMag to make a profit. I’m interested in ReMag being available at an affordable price for the consumer – not the middle man.

Because ReMag is a “specialty” magnesium, none of the magnesium companies I approached wanted to take on the development of a non-laxative product because it would be too expensive to make and would require a level of customer education that they were not able to provide. At RnA ReSet, we provide unparalleled, individual customer care and education.

I know I’ve said many times that ReMag will help everyone but sometimes it’s good to really spell it out. Today, I want to emphasize that magnesium is crucial for proper muscle and nerve function. If you don’t have enough magnesium or if there is too much calcium, your muscles and nerves suffer. Since most doctors don’t know the simple physiology of muscles and nerves they never consider magnesium deficiency in their diagnoses.

I’ve listed muscle and nerve problems in various books and blogs. When I googled musculoskeletal conditions online I found 83 conditions listed. Many of them are rare, hereditary or congenital (present at birth). But all of them could probably benefit from the introduction of ReMag. The MSK conditions that we see most often and that do respond to ReMag include: fibrositis, fasciitis, fibromyalgia, arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle spasms, tendonitis, ligament problems, muscle cramps, acute or chronic neck and back pain, pain, inflammation and swelling in any of the 360 joints in the body.

Nerve problems often overlap with MSK problems and include migraines, irritability, paralysis, pins-and-needles, seizures, convulsions, vertigo, confusion, lowered pain threshold, numbness, tingling, burning, twitching, peripheral neuropathy, sciatica, and carpel tunnel. I’ve even written about cases of MS and Parkinson’s that respond to therapeutic levels of magnesium.

Here’s a testimonial about the effects of ReMag and ReMyte on a hereditary neurological disease:

“A friend of mine, 42, was diagnosed with that Charcot-Marie-Tooth and was told that it was all downhill from here and that she would keep losing feeling in her limbs and soon not able to walk and that she should just enjoy her life…can you imagine! Thankfully she had the good sense! to talk to me and we immediately ordered ReMag, ReMyte and Blue Ice Royal. I’m so happy to report that she is walking properly again! She feels amazing and all her symptoms are gone. She says she feels like all her body parts are now connected. I just wanted to give you this great feedback!”

Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) is one of the most common inherited neurological disorders, affecting approximately 1 in 2,500 people in the United States. The neuropathy of CMT affects both motor and sensory nerves. Motor nerves cause muscles to contract and control voluntary muscle activity such as speaking, walking, breathing, and swallowing. Pain can range from mild to severe, and some people may need to rely on foot or leg braces or other orthopedic devices to maintain mobility.

If you know anyone with muscle or nerve problems, how about giving them the gift of health this holiday season and sending them ReMag and ReMyte, or better still, a whole set of Total Body ReSet formulas.

Mineral Repletion Guidelines:

Water Intake: Drink ½ your body weight (in pounds) in ounces of water. If you weigh 150 lbs, you will drink 75 ounces. Sea salt or Himalayan salt: Add ¼ – ½ tsp to every quart of drinking water – to one of those bottles add ReMag and ReMyte.

ReMag: Start with ¼ tsp per day in a quart of water and sip through the day. Every 2 days add another ¼ tsp. Work up to a therapeutic dose of 2-3 tsp a day if you are trying to overcome a health condition, if you are on medications or otherwise have magnesium deficiency symptoms.

ReMyte: After a week of slowly building up ReMag, slowly add ReMyte into the same quart of water and sip through the day. Every 2 days add another ¼ tsp. Work up to 1 ½ -2 tsp.
