Is a 5% Weight Loss Worth Birth Defects?

June 25, 2016

During the 2013-2014 survey period in the U.S., the prevalence of overweight, including obesity is at an incredible high of 70.7%! There is no question that overweight and obesity are epidemic and precursors to chronic disease: hypertension, diabetes, elevated cholesterol and triglycerides, coronary artery disease, osteoarthritis, infertility, sleep apnea, gallstones, cancer, metabolic syndrome, and stroke.

We all know that these chronic diseases are allopathetically treated with bucketsful of drugs but what is medicine doing about obesity – the underlying cause? More drugs! There are 5 drugs approved by the FDA for long-term use in weight loss but one 2-drug combination showed the best results. The article that I’m referencing on Medscape is called “Two Weight-Loss Drugs Have Highest Odds for 5% Reduction.” Multi million dollar clinical trials are touting Phentermine/Topiramate because you can lose 5% of your weight in a one-year period!

Lord Sufferin Cats! Are they actually serious? Let’s do the math. You weigh 200 lbs and you take these two drugs every day for one year and you may lose 10 lbs? Is that the only upside? What about the downside? They don’t list the side effects in the headlines! They are: paresthesia (tingling in fingers/toes), dizziness, altered sense of taste, insomnia, constipation, dry mouth, increased heart rate, suicidal behavior and ideation, glaucoma, mood and sleep disorders, creatine elevation, metabolic acidosis, and birth defects. But don’t worry, there are lots of other drugs that you can take for these side effects, which is a very real possibility because you or your doctor would never imagine that a simple weight-loss drug could give you a neurological condition or make you suicidal or harm your growing baby!

What are my thoughts on weight loss? It is a big topic, way beyond the chemical body. In Total Biology – the conflict basis of disease – there are several biological conflicts that may program our bodies for obesity and overweight. These conflicts are presented in a very brief form for your exploration, they concern the following:

1. Abandonment – If I feel abandoned, my access to food is threatened, therefore I will store everything I ingest as fat.

2. Figure (esthetic devaluation) If I have a shock every time I see myself in the mirror, my body will add more fat to protect myself from that shock.

3. Indigestible lack – I have what I don’t want and I want what I don’t have.

4. Fat – I will pack on weight to be more imposing to defend myself.

5. Identity – Do I have the right to exist? I pump myself up to show I exist.

6. Protection – I put weight between myself and someone who is attacking me physically or sexually.

On the physical level I know that the Total Body ReSet formulas have a lot to offer but there are some people who say they have gained weight on the formulas. Here is what is happening because I know it has happened to me. ReMag and ReMyte are 100% absorbed at the cellular level and affect thousands of enzyme systems including the metabolism of protein, fats and carbohydrates. Add ReAline to the mix and you clear out the trash and allow the body to function even more efficiently. Then with the magic of RnA Drops you make clean, perfect copies of your new cells and further clean up toxins and radiation. Do you realize what this means? Do I hear a drum roll?

The Total Body ReSet formulas allow you to absorb and utilize the food you eat so effectively and efficiently THAT YOU DON’T NEED TO EAT AS MUCH AS YOU USED TO. I know this because I love the food here in Maui and I love to eat – and I can gain a few pounds if I keep eating beyond my need for sustenance. On the ReSet formulas, I only need to eat about ½ the amount I used to eat. Some may say that as you grow older you need to eat less – but that’s based on the elderly being more sedentary and using less calories. Along with needing less food, I’m exercising more – about 3 hrs a day, so I’m definitely using more calories not less.

My weight loss recommendation includes the Total Body ReSet formulas and I will soon add my meal replacement product, ReStructure to the mix. Your diet would consist of one or two servings of ReStructure a day and one large salad with a side of protein and additional healthy fats – macadamia nut pate (as a mayonnaise for mixing with tuna, salmon or chicken), avocado and olive oil/vinegar salad dressing. The whole program saves both time and money!

Exercise is crucial for weight loss – but to have the energy to exercise you have to take ReMag! Walking and swimming may not be enough – to “trim the torso” and “lose inches”, I do T-Tapp exercises using my friend Teresa Tapp’s exercise DVDs.
