On Facebook, someone asked why I recommend sea salt in drinking water when most doctors tell you to avoid salt. She said that her sodium levels were low but instead of telling her to eat more salt her doctor instructed her to lower her water intake to 4 cups per day (32 ounces). She said that didn’t make sense. She said she was slowly recovering from edema in her legs over the past year and her doctor had her cutting back on water already.
