She asked me how to treat this virus.

I said attacking the virus was not the answer. There are precedents for latent viruses popping up and causing harm. Shingles is a reactivated chicken pox virus and everyone knows they can appear when someone is under great stress. Even the common cold virus will rear its ugly head during the holidays when people are run down and exposed to armies of germs at parties and celebrations.
