Participant Stories

The People of the Maui ReSet Pilot

Ten everyday people, ages 34 to 79, numbers and confounders included.

Ten everyday people, ages 34 to 79, followed the same daily nutrient protocol for six months while living ordinary lives, with real stress, real health histories, and in a few cases real setbacks along the way. Here are all ten, numbers and confounders included. Names are pseudonyms to protect privacy, and every experience is that person’s own. Individual results vary.

Biological age is the snapshot. Pace of aging is the trend we can influence.

What we saw across the group

Reported as observed, cohort-level trends, not as proof of efficacy. Nine of the ten showed favorable movement in their biological-age metrics over the six months, and all ten showed favorable movement across at least some key epigenetic biomarkers. Self-reported symptom scores improved across all participants.

The ten stories

Helen, 70

Housebound during a Maui lockdown with nerve and muscle symptoms she feared were neurological disease. Blood drawn at home so she never had to leave. Over six months her OMICm Age reading moved from 63 to 58, her self-reported symptom score fell by about 55 percent, and her ketone and immune markers rose sharply. In her words, she can drive and walk again. Her energy, she says, is now “fabulous.”

Claudia, 54

Three decades of antidepressant use and a long history of anxiety left her feeling, in her words, paralyzed. Her baseline biological-age reading already sat below her chronological age, and she still improved further: her symptom score fell by about 79 percent, the largest in the study, and her OMICm reading moved from 39 to 35. “My brain has changed,” she said. Her stress markers remain a focus area, which is exactly the kind of honest, ongoing tracking the program is built around.

Suzanne, 50

Thirty years of low mood and a recent loss. She reported a brighter mood, steadier energy, and a more hopeful outlook. Her OMICm reading moved from 52 to about 47.5 and her Symphony reading from 51.5 to 48.2. Any medication adjustments during the study were directed by her physician and are not attributed to the protocol.

Sarah, 79

The oldest participant, living with heart disease. She was hospitalized mid-study and still proved resilient. Her Symphony reading moved from 85 to 81, most of her organ-system ages sat below her chronological age, and her mitochondrial marker climbed from 14 to 62 percent. She wants to keep going.

Arlene, 51

Navigating heartbreak and a high-stress new job on fast food and poor sleep, and she still thrived. Her OMICm reading moved from 45 to 41 and her symptom score fell by about 62 percent. She reported better sleep from the second night.

Emily, 48

A strong baseline with stress as her weak point, plus an acute glaucoma episode mid-study. She held her ground on the clocks under real strain, and her symptom score fell by about 75 percent. Her stress markers rose from the 11th to the 81st percentile, one of the sharpest single shifts we saw.

Pauline, 56

Works in the wellness field and took three mainland trips during the study without ever missing a dose. Her symptoms spiked with travel and then settled, her thyroid markers normalized, and several depleted B vitamins refilled. A clean illustration of how travel stress shows up in the data and then recovers.

Grace, 53

Moving through a hormonal transition from birth control to hormone replacement. After a mid-study spike, her OMICm reading moved from 47 to 43 and her symptom score netted an improvement of about 43 percent. The nutrient foundation appeared to work alongside her physician-directed hormone care.

Steven, 34

The most complex case, with a difficult substance history and a harsh detox that put him in the hospital. We kept him on the foundational nutrients to observe the response, and we report the full picture. His symptom score fell by about 53 percent, while his biological-age readings actually moved older over the six months. That is consistent with an intense healing and detox transition, where the body mobilizes and clears a large burden before deeper markers settle. It is also exactly the kind of result an honest study reports rather than hides.

James, 77

A veteran with Agent Orange exposure, small-fiber neuropathy, tinnitus, and severe fatigue. His symptom score improved substantially, his mitochondrial marker climbed from the 20th to the 75th percentile, and his Symphony reading eased from 72.5 to 71.1. He reports full days gardening again.

Important disclosures

Individual results vary. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The Maui ReSet Pilot Study is a real-world observational pilot (n=10) and is not a randomized controlled trial.
